Everybody wants it, but few truly find it – achieving happiness lies at the core of everything we do. None would disagree if we say that true happiness lies in basic things, things that are overshadowed by hustle and bustle of our materialistic lives.
These things aren’t guaranteeing that you’ll see life in rose-colored glasses, but they sure can make your life happier and less stressful.
You attract what you think
Thinking positively not just make problems vanish in thin air, but can help you handle it better. Choosing to be positive and having a better attitude can determine how you’re life is going to be. Problems seem bigger when you look at things negatively. Therefore, harness positivity!
“Happiness is a state of activity.”―Aristotle
Said by the famous Aristotle himself, being active and exercising can make literally you happier. It does hold a scientific reasoning to it which says that “According to a study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, which found that regular activity is linked with greater happiness over periods of years.”
H = S (Setpoint) + C (Circumstances) + V (Voluntary Activities)
While scientists have done the calculations for us, coming up with a proven formula for what actually makes us really happy, we don’t want to dig our heads into all the calculations when the answer is as simple- We know what really makes us happy, all we need to do is pay attention. Happiness isn’t something that you could buy from the supermarket, it is a process that needs to be cultivated.
You ought to find things that you like, which actually make you happy such as – pursuing hobbies, traveling, spending time with loved ones or just simply enjoying your cup of coffee alone.
